This travel diary is a labor of love for our family and friends back home and around the world. Through Annie's posts you will see what we see this year as we visit Iceland and continue through Finland, Estonia, across Russia to Siberia, down through Mongolia and China, and finish with Thailand and Cambodia. Each year we create a new blog so please click below to view future trips.

OY!!!!
Just found out they messed up our seats again but Annie got us new ones and checked us in on-line. Looked ok at first BUT .... they have our middle initials as part of our first names on the etickets. So I'm assuming they can just change it when we get to the airport but I'll bet I'm not going to sleep so well tonight. Just spent time putting info directions/maps for each city on a 3x5 card so it will be easier to navigate when we get into towns. Annie has everything so well organized. Have to be at the airport really early for our 5:30pm flight so that Zachary (our son) can drop us off and still have plenty of time to get back for work. Tested my duffel bag and it's well under the weight limit but it sure feels heavy to pull. See how it goes tomorrow pulling the bag and carrying the backpack. 65 may be the new 45 today but I wonder about 3 months from now.
